Shipping & Delivery

Important: When payment is made by credit card, your billing address must match the address your credit card company/bank has on file for your card. If the billing address does not match the address you supply when you make your purchase, your order will not ship until the billing address has been verified. Orders that are paid via PayPal will only be shipped to confirmed addresses.

For 2nd Day, Next Day Air and all international orders: If paying by credit card, you must have the order shipped to the billing address.  If this is not done, there will be a delay in shipment.
  
The customer agrees to pay all shipping costs incurred by Satellite Mart due to incorrect address information given at the time of purchase, and or refusal of product upon delivery.
 
Accepted payments types are: Personal/Cashiers Check, Money Order, PayPal, Visa, MasterCard, Discover Card. Please Note: All Credit Card purchases are billed by you, the customer, at the instant you submit your order online. Payment by Company Check  available upon prior approval only.
 
Shipping Policy
Our shipping policies have been created to optimize value for our customers. We ship most orders within 24 hours by either US Postal Service, Fed EX or UPS. Fed Ex & International shipments may take longer. All Express shipments will be given order processing preference over "Ground Shipping". We reserve the right to switch between Fed Ex and UPS due to availability and demand. All shipments to PO boxes will be shipped via the closest USPS option. "Shipping Costs" refers to all expenses involved in the processing of an order and may not be limited to solely shipping charges. WE DO NOT SHIP TO APO BOXES OR MILITARY BASES.

Canadian Shipments / UPS Canadian Duties
We try to ship most parcels to Canada Via USPS because of the duties UPS imposes on Canadian shipments. We will not ship any item weighing over 4 lbs or having a value exceeding $50.00 via USPS Airmail because tracking numbers are not issued by this service. The brokerage fees by UPS can be found on their site. These fees are merely UPS brokerage fees and do not include Duties or Taxes which are based on the origin of the item, end use, and value. We encourage our customers to research the Brokerage fees, duties, and taxes that they should expect to pay before ordering by calling the UPS service line at 1-800-742-5877 .  We are not responsible for any fees, duties or taxes and they are the sole responsibility of the purchaser.

Returns & Replacements
 

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING RETURN POLICY CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THIS WEBSITE. All users of this site agree that access to and use of this site are subject to the following terms and conditions and other applicable law. If you do not agree to these terms of returns, please do not use this site. It is also the customer's responsibility to check the Return Policy before purchasing as this portion is updated frequently.

 
Damaged Merchandise
If you receive damaged merchandise, follow the instructions below:

1. If you can visually see the product has been damaged, accept the shipment and inspect it thoroughly. Always document any product damaged on your bill, and have the driver initial the note to verify the problem. Contact your Parcel Carrier immediately with the tracking number(s). Your Parcel Carrier will handle your claim from this point on. Important note: Do not refuse the shipment or ship the product back to us at this time! Doing so will void any damage claim with your Parcel Carrier and with Satellite Mart.

2. If shipped via freight Satellite Mart's obligation ends when the carrier picks up the product at our designated warehouse. The customer must make all damage claims to the trucking company. If you can visually see that the product has been damaged in transit, make a notation on the Bill of Lading before signing it, and have the driver initial the note. It is also helpful if you can take a photograph of the damage. It is important to make your claim to the carrier within 24 hours of receipt of the damaged product.
 
Defective Merchandise:
Returns accepted on defective merchandise for the first 30 days. Defective merchandise "does not include" cosmetic damage, damage due to lightning, electrical surges, fire, flood, or other acts of God, accident, misuse, abuse, repair or alteration by other than our factory service, negligence, or improper or neglected maintenance. Warranties beyond 30 days usually exist with the manufacturer. Warranties on remanufactured items are 30 days. If you receive defective merchandise, e-mail Satellite Marts Return Department to obtain a Return Authorization (RA) number. Please be prepared to provide the following information:

Invoice Number and Date of Purchase
A complete detailed description of the problem

 RA numbers are valid for 7 days only. Items should be returned to Satellite Mart (with a copy of the original invoice) with freight prepaid by the customer. Any item returned beyond the 7 day RA period and/or without a valid RA number will be refused by Satellite Mart. Merchandise must in the original box and must include all manuals, remotes, cables, packing, and other materials. The RA number should be prominently displayed on the shipping label of each box containing returned product. Do not write on the box. Please thoroughly test any item that you suspect to be defective. A bench fee of $30.00 will be charged for any item returned as defective, and is subsequently found to be non-defective by Satellite Mart technicians. Freight charges for the non-defective merchandise will be the responsibility of the customer. We reserve the right to replace or repair at our discretion. ABSOLUTELY NO REFUNDS All defective products will be accepted directly by Satellite Mart for credit or exchange within 30 days from the date of shipment. We will only accept a return or exchange of an exchange order up to 14 days)

 
Return shipping is the responsibility of the purchaser and non-refundable. Shipping and Handling Charges are NOT refundable. The customer responsible for return shipping. We realize that it is not the customers fault if a product is defective, but please understand it is not our fault if a product is defective -- we ship what our distributors & manufacturers provide us with. This is why we share the shipping costs associated with a return replacement. The customer will pay for return shipping, and we will pay to ship the replacement. We cannot offer our everyday low prices and absorb the full cost of handling return shipments. If you choose to return a defective unit for credit, the shipping and handling charges are non -refundable.
 
There are no returns on Free to Air Receivers and dishes
 
Refunds for items will be issued within the first 10 days. The first 10 days refers to the time period from the purchase date (unless backordered) to the time the customer issues a return tracking number.
 
All products to be returned must be sent within 10 days from the date of shipment, 100% complete, in original condition, and must include original packing material, manuals, blank warranty cards and all accessories provided by the manufacturer. Satellite Mart will accept products returned by customer for a period of 10 days from the date of sale provided that:
 
The item is not a Special Order item.
The item is in new and unused condition completely intact with all cables, accessories, manuals, etc. included in the original box.
The item is not electronic in nature. (Any DOA item that is electronic will be covered under our defective merchandise policy, or the manufacturer's warranty. No Refunds will be given.)
No returns on used equipment.

Please Note: Special Orders ARE NOT subject to return, and or refund. This includes all electronics.
 
Please return Invoice or Packing List with your return or exchange. Please specify reason for return.
 
Deductions for Returned Products/Cancellation Fees
 
 
A restocking fee of 25% (Minimum $15.00) of the sale price and any shipping costs incurred to ship product will be deducted on all returned products. International orders will incur a 30% restocking fee.  Shipping costs incurred to ship any free shipping items will be deducted if returned. Please allow 30 days for refunds.
 
Any Buy Safe purchase is non-refundable.
 
 
PLEASE NOTE: ALL CANCELLATION REQUESTS MUST BE SUBMITTED BY EMAIL. VERBAL CANCELLATION REQUESTS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
ALL ORDERS THAT HAVE BEEN PLACED INTO PRODUCTION AND/OR SHIPPED CANNOT BE CANCELLED!
 
ANY ORDER THAT HAS BEEN PROCESSED WITH THE PARCEL CARRIER WILL INCUR A MINIMUM $15.00 CANCELLATION FEE.

If you dispute a charge on the credit card account that was used to purchase a product from Satellite Mart, you will be responsible for any costs incurred to resolve the matter, including a $30.00 retrieval fee if one such applies and an automatic $50.00 chargeback and handling fee that will be billed to your customer account. The purchaser agrees to pay all collection costs associated with the collection of a delinquent account and agree to be responsible for the payment of such costs, filing fees, court fees, and attorney fees and related costs Satellite Mart may incur in collection of sums that are due from me the purchaser on this purchase/transaction with interest at the prevailing rate established by law.

 
Advanced Replacement
Satellite Mart's policy does not allow for advance replacements. Satellite Mart must receive defective damaged merchandise before replacement products can be released.
